One more tip. The door was removed from the frame and all hardware taken off for finishing. We screwed a few strips of wood to the top of the door and added several plastic chair glides to making it easy to slide the heavy door on the concrete floor of the shop. This made it easy to move the door in and out of the spray room even when the glaze or finish was wet. By inserting a small stick through the door knob hole the door could be moved by pulling the stick without disturbing the wet finish. You can also finish both sides and the edges at the same time.
