An incredibly bad repair to the back leg. A dowel had broken out a section of the frame. The "repair" was performed by poring glue on the bottom of the frame then clamped (see the clamp mark) and a few finishing nails added for good luck. Because the broken out section of rail was not properly glued, there were large cracks that were filled with soft putty. |
