Scraping off several kinds of old glue can be a grueling task but is necessary to achieve a good strong joint that will not fail. A small tipped torch is used to soften and brake down the old glue for easier removal. This technique works will with all glues except "hot melt" glue sticks. It works exceptionally well to remove old hide glues. |
